AI answers: Your users stop getting AI-generated answers from the assistant. The widget and help center AI chat show a fallback message instead.
PR reviews: Fern stops checking new merged pull requests against your docs until your allowance resets or you purchase more.
Scale and Enterprise plans have unlimited PR reviews, so they never run out.
Restore AI features
Buy extra AI answers or PR reviews from Settings → Usage without changing your plan. See Buy additional usage for step-by-step instructions.
Alternatively, wait for your plan allowances to reset at the next billing cycle.
Low-balance banner
Admins see a banner when an allowance is running low or depleted. Click Manage usage on the banner to go straight to the usage page and add more.
